Today’s stories
DALLAS JUSTICE NOW, a wacky woke offshoot of the 2020 BLM movement, is harassing wealthy Democrats in Highland Park.
You love to see it.
When you (Democrats) spend the better part of four years coddling Marxist racist movements, this should be the expected outcome.
In addition to being based on the central tenant of CRT (hate your skin color), the letter features the second leg of CRT, that minority boys and girls aren't capable of elevating themselves.
This isn’t true, but it’s a lie that the left will continue to spread to deceive and divide.
It’ll be interesting to see if someone 1) pulls the list of Democrat voters in Highland Park and 2) identifies those with college-aged or college-bound kids to track the success/failure rate of Dallas Justice Now’s letter campaign.
ELECTION REVIEWS should be allowed across the state, and citizens should be able to call for one if there’s distrust in how an election was conducted.
Rep. Steve Toth’s recent comments that election reviews are limited to large Democrat-controlled counties are unhelpful and should be reversed.
Democrats being against transparency is a losing position. So is limiting transparency to only some counties. You don’t get to whine about election integrity efforts while at the same time insisting on hiding the ball.
PHILLIP CORTEZ snatched defeat from the jaws of relevancy over the weekend, returning to join his Democrat colleagues in D.C. after returning to Texas to negotiate with Republicans on election reforms.
BETO O’ROURKE is still playing footsie with a run for governor. As has been the long-stated prediction of this publication, if he runs, he’ll lose.
What’s most telling about this O’Rourke flirtation with running is it exposes the weakness of the Democrat bench in Texas.
You’d have to be a braindead crank newsletter writer in Austin to suggest Democrats have been “making meaningful gains” in Texas over the past decade.
If that were the case, they wouldn’t have to keep running the same tired candidates (Davis, O’Rourke), and the long-anticipated Castro ascension would have happened. Instead, half of the Castro element Romo’ed, taking a job as a political commentator for NBC.
