ALLEN WEST has officially thrown his hat in the ring, announcing a challenge to Greg Abbott on Sunday. The Governor and his allies have for months signaled they perceive West as a threat.
With former Senator Don Huffines and radio personality Chad Prather already in the race, the field looks like it could force at least a run-off, something Abbott will need to avoid to retain any hope of a 2024 bid alive.
“EXPERTS” continue to hemorrhage credibility. This week is the historians and professors who hate the bad orange man edition.
C-SPAN recently surveyed the aforementioned “experts” who ranked President Trump near the bottom of presidential effectiveness.
Goofily, the experts ranked him dead last on moral authority and international relations. These folks missed the U.S. not entering into new armed conflicts, N. Korea chilling out, and Americans getting better trade deals and regained respect, among other wins.
As for moral authority, these clowns have LBJ in the middle of the pack, JFK nearing the top 10, and FDR at three. Let’s look at what they did while in office.
LBJ committed election fraud, used the government to enrich himself, and bullied his peers; JFK slept with not his wife, and FDR, regarded by many as an anti-semite, turned a blind eye to the plight of Jews in Nazi Germany.
Hating someone so much that you would completely debase yourself and your profession to score points is so 2021.
