THE HOUSTON CHRONICLE is telling an opposite story suggesting immigrants switched from being Trump voters to Biden voters. It’s just one in a slew of articles popping out after the election.
Democrats and their media handmaidens appear to be concerned about the party hemorrhaging support among minority voters. The latest talking point that Latino voters in cities are not the same as Latino voters in the suburban and rural settings is priceless.
This election cycle wasn’t a repudiation of the false talking point that demographics are destiny; it nuked the notion. Texas has been growing increasingly Latino for the past three decades. Over that period of time, Texas has become more Republican, not less.
That move was without the benefit of the vote. If the GOP doesn’t revert to pre-Trump policy prioritization, this election is a path to winning the Latino vote.
Castro wasn't griping about the party abandoning Hispanic voters earlier this year because they were a bloc that was large, mostly in the city and supporting Democrats. This is bad for Democrats, and the spin doesn’t make it better.
UNIONS are keeping schools closed. Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath deemed schools ‘relatively safe’ during a report to the SBOE.
