HARRIS COUNTY has been sued for allowing non-citizens to register to vote. The legal filing comes late in the election cycle after the county spent years fighting the release of records used to build the case.
Meanwhile, a stay of last week's last-minute ruling reinstating straight-ticket voting was issued by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
And, while Harris County is setting up to mismanage this year's election, opening the door to likely malfeasance (including mail-in ballot harvesting), there will be an upper threshold.
