GREG ABBOTT doesn't have many friends after announcing the state will continue to phase open, moving to 75% for most businesses.
On the right, Sen. Bob Hall noted that "25 percent tyranny is still tyranny." While the left has predictably resorted to the inane yet subtle "Abbott wants everyone dead" talking point.

DREW SPRINGER and his surrogates work overtime to combat the 100% accurate claim he worked for a lobbyist. In addition to working for a lobbyist, Springer had an apparent conflict of interest while employed by Ryan LLC, a fact he needs to distract from, and his pals are helping.
DONALD TRUMP's approval rating is at 42% down from 49% in May (before the brunt of COVID19). Not great, but it's inaccurate to suggest Trump is like past President's Carter or H.W. Bush and projecting that onto the election is foolish since Carter faced Reagan and Bush likely would have won had Perot not split the vote.
