Today’s Stories
ABORTION, in its current form (nationwide), appears on its way out.
Praise God.
This, of course, assumes yesterday’s leaked SCOTUS opinion holds. Now, the justices will be subjected to a public intimidation campaign as we’ve never seen.
If present trends hold, by July 1st, abortion will be completely illegal in Texas.
Most of the fallout from this development, assuming it materializes, is beyond the scope of this newsletter. Change, however, is coming.
The left may use this development to pack the court, but that gambit is likely to fail. Assuming everything goes off without alteration, midterms go well for the GOP.
One follow-up question: Assuming the leaked opinion holds, is established “pro-life” political infrastructure still necessary?
The pro-aborts will attempt to create new loopholes. Not as obvious, but equally important, plenty of work remains at the end of life. Still, the question remains are Texas's longstanding “pro-life” groups rapidly becoming obsolete.
Maybe it’s time to shut them down completely. That doesn’t preclude new (narrowly tailored) groups. But it is to say that donors might re-assess resource allocations.

TROY NEHLS, a congressman from Ft. Bend County, wants to know why Disney is the only company in the country that enjoys a federally enforced no-fly zone.
“Mess” around and find out, right Disney?!?
Aside: That all this went down in 2003 means that Dubya’s presidential administration granted a huge federal favor to one of Florida’s most prominent political donors when Jeb! (please clap) was governor. (AC)
