Today's stories
SHELLEY LUTHER tweeted yesterday that she's been asked to consider a run for a likely special election in Senate District 30.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS pose a two-way risk (coming and going) when it comes to the spread of the coronavirus. For months, the Trump administration has been sending illegal immigrant minors home as a way to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Now, the left is upset; these children are being tested before being returned to their countries of origin. Quickly moving illegal immigrants (including children) home may ultimately protect against the further unnecessary spread of COVID19.
The topic of illegal immigration, like reopening schools, poses a reality issue for the left when it comes to keeping Americans locked down.
Holding a citizenry hostage-at-home while implementing Stazi-esque tracking protocols to control the spread of a virus can't co-exist with a porous border and freewheeling international travel.
LAWMAKERS, via their media lackeys, appear to be working on a scheme to exclude Texans from the capitol during the 2021 session and limit the number of items considered.
This set up works for lawmakers who don't want to take action on issues of concern for citizens and is more true for politicians nursing misguided 2024 electoral aspirations.
If Texans are ultimately kept at bay in 2021, a "special class" is likely to fight for exemption, lobbyists.
